In Mumbai, Reliance Foundation Young Champs (RFYC) opened their campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory over Community Football Club India at the Cooperage Football Stadium. Shadhil EK led the charge with a brace, finding the net in the 12th and 32nd minutes, before Nishal added a third in the 83rd minute. The other Mumbai fixture saw Brothers Sports Association dominate Thane City FC in a 5-0 rout, highlighted by Nibash Singh’s hat-trick after early goals from Roldan Dsilva and Teinam Marshilong.

The Delhi leg witnessed two goal-filled encounters, with Zinc Football Academy putting on an attacking masterclass in their 8-0 victory over 90 Minutes FC. Aniket was the star performer with a hat-trick (10′, 47′, 76′), while Himesh contributed a brace. Garhwal Heroes FC matched this offensive display with a 7-0 triumph against Noida City, featuring Tictak’s hat-trick (19′, 23′, 48′) and Adiya’s double, with Zuala and Brajesh also getting on the scoresheet.

In Bengaluru, at the Padukone – Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, Bangalore Youth Football League (BYFL) secured a measured 2-0 win over Young Blues Elite FC through goals from Kipa (11′) and Andrew (88′). The day’s final match saw Bengaluru FC held to a goalless draw by Alchemy International FA.
