No one truly know what is transpiring in Ben Simmons head at the moment.
The last couple of months have seen an extradonaire set of events unravel with respect to the player. After refusing to turn up again to Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons showed up to the club unannounced in a bid to safeguard his money after being fined $1.4 million by the team for not showing up for four preseason games.
However, his petulant personality managed to get him kicked out of practice soon after after Doc Rivers decided he had seen enough of Simmons being half assed about things. The writing was on the player who was persistently treading on thin ice after he refused to be subbed into a drill.

In the aftermath of the entire incident, Simmons had gone onto claim he had mental health issues along with troubles with his back. Simmons used both issues to refrain from returning to the club’s shooting arounds.
While the 76ers have decided not to dish out any further fines for him owing to his mental health troubles, its clear that the 76ers and Simmons don’t have a future together. While the club is yet to find a side to trade him, Simmons first choice has emerged with the player having only eyes on Golden State Warriors at the moment.

“According to one league source, Simmons would still prefer to be traded,” Evan Massey of NBA Analysis has reported. “His preferred destination if a trade does occur is the Warriors, who he believes would be a perfect fit for the next chapter of his career,” he continued.
