For the 2023 Badminton Asia Junior Championships, which will take place in Indonesia’s Yogyakarta, India has selected a squad of eighteen shuttlers. Individual and mixed team competitions will be held throughout the badminton tournament. The mixed team events will take place between July 7 and July 11, and the individual competitions will run from July 12 to July 16.

2023 Badminton Asia Junior Championship schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & Indian squad
According to the format, a single-legged round-robin format will be used for the mixed team competition’s group stage. In this team, every team will enter shuttlers in the boys doubles, girls singles, boys singles, girls doubles, & mixed doubles category matches. Ultimately, each tie will be decided by best-of-five games. Following the group-stage, top-two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage. Notably, the final will be played on 11th July.
There will also be competition in all five of the individual events, which will feature athletes from 17 different countries. In the boys’ and girls’ singles competitions, respectively, Ayush Shetty and Tara Sha will spearhead India’s challenge. Rakshitha Sree and Lakshya Sharma are also medal contenders. Before leaving for the competition, the India team for the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2023 completed a 14-day training camp at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula.

It has been revealed that the live streaming of all matches from the 2023 Badminton Asia Junior Championships will be provided through the YouTube channel of Badminton Asia. However, there will be no live broadcast of these matches through any Indian television channel.
