In addition, to make the fans go gaga over the re-release of Baba, the music master A.R Rahman has also requested a preview of the new edit from the makers so that the musician can upgrade his work.

For those who are curious to know the re-release date of the supernatural action drama, let us tell you, the movie is set to be released on the lead actor’s birthday, i.e, December 12.
Let us remind you, the original movie was released in theatres back in 2002. After almost 2 decades, the film was re-edited while mixing with some new scenes.
The re-release of Baba has been enhanced digitally according to the modern views and experience. The movie will be shown in theatres in Tamil Nadu.

For those who are curious to know when and where the film will be released on OTT, let us tell you, as per reports, the movie is expected to be premiered post-theatrically on Disney+ Hotstar as the streaming platform has reportedly bagged the streaming rights for Baba’s re-release.
In an earlier press release, the PR team of Rajinikanth stated that the movie is all set to be screened again as it has been re-edited.
“All the songs of the film, which are full of scintillating music by AR Rahman like ‘Maya Maya’, ‘Shakti Kodu’, have been remixed and changed to Dolby Mix sound system.”
