This particular Grand Prix was not held from 2004-2012 and was brought back in the Formula 1 schedule in 2014 and has been added ever since. However, in 2020 the Austrian racing circuit has held the race twice in a single schedule. Even in 2021, because of Turkish Grand Prix getting cancelled, Austria meets the same honor to host 2 races for consecutive years in a row.
