Serena Williams and Roger Federer will not be competing because they both announced their retirement in 2022. Instead, the best tennis players in the world will travel to Australia in the hopes of winning the tournament and the sizable prize money that will be awarded to the winner.

The 2023 Australian Open begins on January 16 and concludes on January 29, with both events taking place at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
The organisers have revealed the amounts for the winners and runners-up even though the entire prize money split has not yet been made public.
Although the prize money for the 2023 Australian Open has not yet been disclosed, it can be assumed that it will either be equal to or higher than the amount awarded during the competition in 2022.
