The Australian Open has entered its quarterfinal stage. Two of the matches were played today while two fixtures are scheduled to be played tomorrow to decide the top two for the final.

The first match was played at the Rod Laver Arena was between Czech professional Barbora Krejcikova and Madison Keys where the American women beat the 2021 French Open champion 6-3, 6-2 to become the first women to advance to the semis of the first Grand Slam of the year.
The second fixture was played between Australian Ashleigh Barty and Jessica Pegula of America where World Number One player Barty outlasted the American to set up a semifinal clash against Madison Keys.
