For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the actress’s lehenga was reportedly a handmade and hand woven piece which was designed by Celebrity designer, Anamika Khanna.
In an earlier interview, the celebrity designer revealed that Mubarakan actress lehenga was made with silk and was studded with zardozi and jaali work to elaborate its delicate design.
The designer furthermore added that the actress’ beautiful lehenga was accompanied by an equally alluring veil along with dupatta which was made of silk organza replete.
The handwork done by the designer has given the entire bridal look an extra intricacy. In her statement, the designer revealed that the detailing work of Athiya’s wedding outfit was the outcome of somewhat around 10,000 hour-long hard work and dedication of her team.
In addition, she also revealed that the inspiration behind Athiya’s wedding attire was Shetty herself, who wanted to carry a special look on her special day. Not just this, the celebrity designer also praised the actress for her fine taste in fashion.

In her statement, Anamika stated, “The outfit is a labour of love. It took approximately 10000 hours to make.”
Athiya’s overall look was complemented by a slew of gems including a hefty polki, pearl necklace, earrings and a maang-tikka. In addition the actress was seen wearing beautiful bangles and personalized cascading charms.
Keeping up with her minimalistic choices, Athiya opted for a simple mangalsutra and she was seen with a simple solitaire mangalsutra. Athiya also flaunted a chunky diamond ring, seemingly gifted to her by KL Rahul during their engagement ceremony.
Athiya made sure that her bridal look was fuss-free and simple. She opted for a simple maang-tikka and beautifully embraced a nude make-up look with blush pink eyeshadow and the evergreen mane-parted bun.
