2024 Asian Wrestling Championships latest results, schedule, date, venue, results, and Indian wrestlers
This event will be the first international event, which will allow Indian wrestlers to represent their country under the Indian flag since UWW removed their ban on the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). Furthermore, this event will act as a curtain-raiser to the Asian Olympic Games qualifier, which will take place at the same venue after the Asian Wrestling Championships.
As per WFI reports, the Olympic qualifier will feature wrestlers who finished first in their respective weight classes and the Asian Championships will feature all the wrestlers with next best rankings. In the latest edition of this prestigious event, India managed to bag one gold medal, three silver medals, and ten bronze medals.

On Thursday, Indian wrestler Udit Kumar clinched a silver medal in the men’s 57kg freestyle event. Meanwhile, Vicky Chahar bagged a bronze medal in the men’s 97kg freestyle and Abhimanyu earned a bronze medal in the men’s 70kg freestyle event.
