To compete in the roller skating events at the 2023 Asian Games, India has dispatched a sizeable delegation. The skating competitions will begin tomorrow at Hangzhou’s Qiantang Roller Sports Centre.

This year’s Asiad will provide a total of 12 gold medals for various skating competitions. In roller sports, India has two bronze medals from the Asian Games, both of which were earned in 2010.
India will be represented in Hangzhou by a speed skating team of 14. India has never sent a larger team for this sport to the Asian Games. Of the squad’s 14 skaters, seven are from Maharashtra at Hangzhou’s Qiantang Roller Sports Centre.
