The Indian athletes have shattered previous records by securing a total of 107 medals, including 28 Gold, 38 Silver, and 41 Bronze. The Men’s Kabaddi Team and the Men’s Cricket team also claimed Gold medals, adding to the nation’s glory. In Badminton, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy made history by winning the Gold in men’s doubles. Chess prodigies Arjun Erigaisi, R Praggnanandhaa, D Gukesh, Vidit Gujrathi, and Pentala Harikrishna contributed to India’s Silver medal in Chess.

This technological marvel will revisit special moments from the Asian Games 2023 and culminate with the appearance of the digital torchbearer, who also graced the opening ceremony.

The closing ceremony of the Asian Games 2023 is set to take place on Sunday, October 8th, at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium in Hangzhou, China. 

The ceremony will commence at 5:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). It promises to be a mesmerizing event, lasting approximately 75 minutes, with a unique blend of culture, technology, and entertainment.
