Beginning on September 29, 2023, and ending on October 5, 2023, respectively, is when the athletics competition is scheduled to get started. There’s no doubt that Indian supporters will wait for Neeraj Chopra to throw the javelin, but in addition to Neeraj, Indian mixed and women’s 4x400m relay teams will also compete as defending Asian Games winners.
In what looks to be yet another tantalising competition between the two javelin throwers at the upcoming Asian Games 2023, Neeraj Chopra and Arshad Nadeem square off against one another. When the former shared a photo on social media with the Indian javelin thrower and his coaches, it was clear that the two men have a “unique” bond.
With more eyes on the Indian competitor than his Pakistani rival, Neeraj Chopra and Arshad Nadeem will be in action at the Games soon. Numerous more athletes, including the Indian mixed and women’s 4x400m relay teams, Tajinderpal Singh Toor (shot put), Jinson Johnson (1500m), Swapna Barman (heptathlon), and others, will defend their gold medals in their respective disciplines.
The exciting events in the men’s and women’s categories include the javelin throw, long jump, high jump, triple jump, Hammer, shot put throw, discus throw, pole vault, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 110m hurdles, decathlon, heptathlon, 1500m, 3000m steeplechase, and the 4x400m relay.
There is still time for the track and field athletics competition at the Asian Games 2023. The competition will start from September 29 and we await the results and it is to be seen how many medals the Indians win with a lot of favourite contenders.
