The team from Indian Bridge will attempt to match its previous heroics, when it took home one gold and two bronze medals. The Bridge tournament will begin on September 27 and last for 10 days. Athletes will compete for three gold medals at the Hangzhou, Bridge competitions, which will take place in Hangzhou Qi-Yuan Chess Hall from September 27 to October 6.
This time, India has chosen 18 athletes from the Open, Women’s, and Mixed divisions. The bronze-winning men’s team from Jakarta, which included Sumit Mukherjee, Jaggy Shivdasani, and Rajeswar Tiwari, will compete in Hangzhou as well.
