There are altogether 16 Indian archers – eight men and eight women – competing at the Asia Cup 2023 Taoyuan.
Asia Cup archery 2023 Taoyuan Indian team preview
This time, big names like Atanu Das, Deepika Kumari, Tarundeep Rai, Pravin Jadhav and Abhishek Verma have all decided to exclude themselves from entering the competition.
As such, India will have a fresh team of talents participating in the event. In the compound competitions, archers Priyansh and Pragati, will lead the Indian challenge in the men’s and women’s categories.
The team also feature world No. 25 women’s compound archer Parneet Kaur, and 16-year-old compound archer Aditi Gopichand Swami. Meanwhile, in recurve archery, Parth Salunkhe, will be the top Indian archer.
A total of 150 archers from across 15 countries are set to feature in the Asia Cup 2023 Taoyuan. Some of the top international archers include Olympians Ryan Tyack of Australia and Diya Siddique of Bangladesh.

The World Archery website will also provide the live scores of the entire event. Sadly, there won’t be any live telecast of the Archery Asia Cup 2023 Taoyuan on any TV channel in India.
