India announced the squad for Asia cup 2022, with Kohli and Kl Rahul back on the side
Virat Kohli and vice-captain KL Rahul are back on the Indian team for the Asia cup 2022. Both of the star players didn’t play the West Indies tour and the new lads were given chance to showcase their skills. The role of both the players will be key at the top if you want to win the tournament once again.
India will play their first game against Pakistan on the 28th of August
India’s Asia cup will begin on the 28th of august when they will face their arch-rival Pakistan in Dubai International stadium. Pakistan looks stronger than ever to take on the Indian team in a high-pressure game. The last time when these two teams faced each other was at the same venue where Pakistan won the game with 10 Wickets. It was a shambolic defeat that broke the streak of India against Pakistan in World cups.
India will be looking to take revenge for the T20 world cup game loss of last year. On the 28th of august, it will jam-packed stadium waiting to watch the high voltage match.

Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, and Axar Patel.
Arshdeep and Avesh Khan impressed the selectors and got a place in the squad ahead of experienced Shami. Ravi Bishnoi has also made it to the squad as he impressed everyone on the west indies tour.
Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah are ruled out of the tournament as both of them are injured. They are currently in NCA Bengaluru.
