Reportedly, Asaram’s charity organization, the Sant Shri Asaramji Ashram Charitable Trust, finds the video material to be extremely offensive.

His full name is Asumal Sirumalani Harpalani. He was born on April 17, 1941, in Berani, Sind Province, British India. His mother’s name is Menhgiba, and his father’s name is Thaumal Sirumalani. After India’s partition, he and his family moved to Ahmedabad, India.
Asaram Bapu did his initial schooling at Jai Hind High School. However, not much is known about his education life. Bapu is married and is the father of two children: a son, Narayan Sai, and an unknown daughter. He is currently 82 years old.
