Arsenal and adidas collaborate with Maharishi

Arsenal have introduced a new line of unique and modern uniform combining the best in adidas pre-match and travel wear along with Maharishi’s utilitarian aesthetic. The new line also features an adidas GORE-TEX jacket and pants, which provide the ultimate performance for active sports. Notably, the campaign represents the club’s shared values of togetherness and community with Maharishi. The ad campaign for the new line features players like Declan Rice, Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, and Manuela Zinsberger.

The new collection features a bespoke camouflage pattern, ‘DPM: Bonsai Dragon Scales’. The pattern is inspired by the upcoming Lunar Year of the Dragon. The new range, includes a pre-match jersey, anthem jacket, shorts, and socks. It also features a range of off-pitch items like a hoodie, tee and pants. The designs are in line with Maharishi’s use of powerful mythological creatures. Fans will find all the pieces detailed with all sorts of embroidery and prints celebrating the club’s famous icons of the cannon. Some of the items also have a new incarnation of the club mascot – Gunnersaurus.

“the perfect mix of Arsenal, Maharishi and adidas”

Following the release of the new clothing line, Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson, who also appears in the promotional campaign stated:

This range is the perfect mix of Arsenal, Maharishi and adidas – it looks fresh, and as a big fan of Maharishi I’m excited for the club to be linking up with brands that are authentically part of London’s culture. I know our supporters will really like this collaboration too.”

Meanwhile, Hardy Blechman, who is the founder of the Maharishi brand, shared:

As an Arsenal fan, it’s an absolute honour to collaborate on this range. It combines the very best in adidas performance, with the streetwear aesthetic of Maharishi.”

He shared how the brand has taken a pacifist approach to military-grade utilitarian design since 1994. The brand produces items that represent camouflage as a symbol of nature and art. He also shared his excitement about sharing these ideals with the design of this adidas and Arsenal collection. Fans will get to spot players from both the men’s and women’s teams starting on October 28. The men’s first team will warm up in the new jerseys and also walk out in the jackets ahead of the upcoming Premier League game against Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

The range will be limited in quantity and available across Arsenal Direct from today. The Arsenal X Maharishi shirt has a snakeskin-like effect in camouflage colours, and fans can get their hands on it for £80 and an £85 track top features a similar snake-skin design while there is a lime green hoodie for sale at the price of £90.
