The sequel to Ark, part 2 starring macho dude Vin Diesel has been given a new release date
The first Ark was a surprise smash when it was launched in 2015, combining the elements that people enjoyed in games like Minecraft and Rust with dinosaurs as well as other prehistoric species.
It was a strange caveman-style game with the means to obtain futuristic technology. It has a devoted following on PC and platforms.
Massive bases, fighting groups, and much more have spawned a healthy player base that keeps servers active.
On the surface, it appears to be a very simple game, but as you become more involved with it, it becomes increasingly sophisticated.
Ark II was confirmed for release in 2020, however, specifics about the project are limited.
Ark 2 Starring Vin Diesel Release Date, Gameplay, Story, Multiplayer, Trailer And Platforms
A new cinematic trailer for the game was unveiled. Reiterating that actor Vin Diesel will play a significant role in the future game, which appears to feature an overarching story.
The story is described as a tale “of betrayal and broken promises, as well as the strength of the familial relationship” between a father and his daughter.
Ark II will, of course, include a multiplayer mode dubbed “Survivors.” Which sounds like a lot more sophisticated and refined version of the internet components of the original game.
The game will also be a console “launch” exclusive for Xbox Series X|S, according to Microsoft.
That is to say, it will most likely be released on PlayStation at a later date. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass both for Xbox and PC, as predicted.
We’re still waiting on gameplay from Ark II, but with a release date of 2023 in sight, we shouldn’t have to wait long.
It remains to be seen whether or not the tale will be worth reading. However, it appears that the gameplay & multiplayer might be more of what fans want in a sequel. In the trailer, Diesel, who is also executive producing this game, rides a dinosaur, which is a fantastic sight to see.
His daughter, Auli’i Cravalho from Moana, is by his side.
While there isn’t much information regarding Ark 2, there are also plenty of “family” memes to keep us occupied in the meanwhile.
