Recent rumors suggesting that Target is selling “tuck-friendly” items from its controversial Pride collection to children, including “tuck-it-in shorts” for young boys, have been debunked
It was previously reported that Target had removed some merchandise from display due to backlash received for offering LGBTQ+ friendly clothing and other items in celebration of Pride month. However, similar to the Bud Light controversy involving Dylan Mulvaney’s feature, conservatives are now spreading misinformation about Target’s kids’ collection in an attempt to damage its reputation further.

While out today to see my oncologist, I drove by a Target store in Clearwater.
It's true! You can buy your infant a bilingual jumper to glorify 2LGBTQIA+!
Can you hear your 8-year-old daughter asking what 🤮 "Tuck-Delicious" means?
This assumes your child can read. 🤔 pic.twitter.com/FcJQcQxNCl

The rumors circulating about non-existent items such as “tuck-it-in shorts” in the Target Pride collection are baseless and serve to further fuel unnecessary drama and controversy.
The “Tuck-it-in shorts” rumor debunked
The rumor circulating about Target selling “tuck-it-in shorts” for “little boys” in their controversial Pride collection was not found true. The rumor’s origin can be traced back to a TikTok video posted by @faithfilledmama, which has now been deleted. In the video, the woman, who identifies herself as a Christian, expresses outrage and calls for Target to be “canceled” for allegedly promoting a gender agenda to children.
@faithfilledmama claims that no brand should introduce concepts of sexuality and gender identity to children. Towards the end of the video, she asserts that Target has “tuck-it-in” shorts displayed for young boys, which has caused her to avoid taking her own children to Target stores.
However, the reality is that all the tuck-friendly clothing items from Target’s LGBTQ+ collection are exclusively designed and marketed for adults. Despite the beliefs of critics, there are no “tuck-it-in shorts” or similar products being sold by Target for young boys. The rumor is baseless and inaccurate.
Items not being sold at Target
Amidst the ongoing drama surrounding Target, several rumors have emerged, falsely claiming that the store sells items with outrageous graphics and wording in its latest Pride collection.
One particular rumor involved a supposed tuck-friendly swimsuit for children, which, in reality, does not exist. However, Target does offer tuck-friendly swimsuits for adults, as seen in a video by Right-Wing YouTuber Alex Stein, where he mockingly wore one.
Additionally, the collection created by London-based studio Abprallen does not include any products featuring references to Satan, contrary to conservative claims. Instead, the sweatshirts and tote bags in the collection feature empowering slogans such as “We Belong Everywhere,” “Too Queer for Here,” and “Cure Transphobia, Not Trans People.”
