A man claims that NFL free agent  Antonio Brown sold him a phoney $160,000 Richard Mille watch. Brown’s resident in Florida, Broward County, has received a complaint from Ryan Kane saying that the former football star knew the watch was fake but said it was real.

In a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, October 6th, in a Sarasota County Circuit Court, a promoter for Secure the Bag Entertainment said Brown used Lil Wayne’s name to try and get a contract for $100,000 and the complaint alleged that the athlete breached his contract and defamed the company over an “exclusive artist agreement” between him and Secure the Bag Entertainment.

One allegation is that he sold the company’s owner, Ryan Kane a fake high-end watch for $160,000 and complaints said he defrauded the company out of $178,000 in counterfeit expenses for reimbursement and made a bunch of sexist, racist, lewd, and threatening messages to several STB execs and others. The lawsuit says the expenses included Brown spending $87,000 to rent a Los Angeles recording studio for five hours and about $8,500 to pay for some of Brown’s entourage to fly in a jet.

Kane sued the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver.

In the action, which was filed earlier this week, Kane is suing the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver for fraud and other allegations. In addition to interest, $160,000 in damages are sought in the lawsuit. On or around July 27, 2022, it is claimed that Brown sold him the watch knowing it was a fake. According to TMZ, the watch was only worth a couple of hundred dollars. Following the transaction, Kane allegedly sent $160,000 to Brown’s company, Boomin Productions, LLC. Kane allegedly learned that the watch was a fake less than two months after the Miami appraisal and that Brown had bought it, along with three other Richard Mille knockoffs, from a vendor in Dubai for less than $500 each.

The watch, according to Kane, was an RM 011 model and cost over $400,000. The wristwatch Kane believed he had bought was introduced in 2007 to coincide with Felipe Massa, a former Formula 1 driver. Brown is frequently in the news, so the fact that he hasn’t made any public comments about it may surprise some people.In the NFL, Brown is a free agent after being released by the Buccaneers in January. He won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2020.

Brown has been in news for odd reasons.

This event occurs less than a week after the video of Brown flashing his penis to a woman on May 14 while on vacation at the Armani Hotel in Dubai became viral. The divisive ex-player trivialised the situation by claiming that his performance in the pool demonstrated his readiness to return to the NFL.
