For the unversed, a purported YouTube search history of Parag has gone viral on social media, containing objectionable content.

A short clip shows Parag sitting in front of his computer with the screen displaying alleged searches like “Ananya Panday hot” and “Sara Ali Khan hot.”

Parag resumed the live streaming of his gaming sessions on YouTube yesterday and minutes into the stream, Parag was looking for some copyright free music to play on his stream and that’s when he stumbled upon YouTube.

However, Riyal Parag forgot to hide his screen and as a result, his explicit Youtube search history was leaked and the searches mentioned Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey and Sara Ali Khan.

Speaking about RR vs SRH match, Parag managed only six runs off 10 balls before being dismissed by SRH’s impact substitute Shahbaz Ahmed. Chasing a target of 176, RR went 22 balls without a boundary before Parag attempted an aggressive shot off Shahbaz, only to top-edge it to Abhishek at deep mid-wicket.

Commentating on the match, Gavaskar expressed his frustration with Parag’s approach, questioning the utility of his talent without proper thought.

What Did Sunil Gavaskar Say?

“Seriously, seriously? What’s the use of all the talent if you are not going to think? What kind of shot is that, seriously? So much talent.

“If you don’t have the temperament, it won’t work. So what if you had a few dot balls? You can still make up for it,” Gavaskar remarked.

Parag’s dismissal was a turning point, triggering a collapse that saw RR lose three wickets in the span of 15 balls. The 2008 champions never recovered, ultimately losing by 36 runs as SRH advanced to the final.

Shahbaz Ahmed was the standout performer, contributing 18 runs and recording bowling figures of 3-23, earning him the Player of the Match award.

SRH skipper Pat Cummins credited coach Daniel Vettori for the decision to bring in Shahbaz as the Impact substitute.

Earlier in the match, SRH, known for their high-scoring innings this season with record totals of 277 and 287, struggled until Heinrich Klaasen boosted their score with his fourth fifty of the season.

Rajasthan’s Trent Boult had made early breakthroughs, dismissing Abhishek in the first over and then sending back Rahul Tripathi (37) and Aiden Markram (1) in the fifth over.

Fast bowler Avesh Khan took two wickets in two balls, prompting SRH to bring in Shahbaz, who made a significant impact.

Despite the controversy, Parag had an outstanding season, scoring over 500 runs. He finished as the third-highest run-scorer in IPL 2024, amassing 573 runs from 16 matches at an average of over 52, including four half-centuries.

This was Parag’s best performance in the Indian Premier League to date. However, despite his prolific form, Parag was unable to lead his team to the final, falling short in the knockout match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chennai.
