In preparation for the 2024 season, the AlphaTauri Formula One team; best known as Red Bull Racing’s brother team; will undergo a major makeover. According to MotorsportTotal.com, the upcoming rebranding is a calculated move that will bring two new American sponsors into the team’s fold in addition to changing the name.

The team that is currently known as AlphaTauri is trying to become closer to Red Bull as much as is legal with the current restrictions.

The 2024 Formula One team’s new name has already been agreed upon, according to AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer. A formal announcement is imminent; nevertheless, there is already much conjecture over the new identity of Red Bull Racing’s sister team, and there is a possibility that the new logo has been leaked.

What is the rumoured new name and the logo for AlphaTauri?

The upcoming new logo for AlphaTauri bears resemblance to the insignia of Red Bull Racing. In 2024, AlphaTauri intends to rebrand itself. The reports says that “Racing Bulls” will be the new name.

Reports from August of last year stated that HUGO, a clothing company, may sponsor the team as the title sponsor and call them “Hugo Boss Bulls Racing.” Hugo and Adidas, who were also in the running, have reportedly failed to collaborate with the team.

Meanwhile, the team has experience with this tactic. Before going under the name Toro Rosso, which means “Red Bull” in Italian, the team had an own identity but remained associated with the Milton Keynes brand. A number of drivers, including Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, and Alex Albon, were once affiliated with Toro Rosso before joining Red Bull.

Considering that it has been confirmed that the team will be using more parts from the victorious, Max Verstappen-powered squad, it appears that this proposed name change is an attempt to reclaim a similar connection to their legacy.
