Club Career

Garnacho started his professional athletic career at Atletico Madrid. Many teams were interested in him as a result of his great play, including Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and Real Madrid. The Red Devils, however, were successful in their attempt to sign the talented player.

When he enrolled in the Manchester United academy in 2020, the 17-year-old was one of the team’s best prospects at the start of his career. He made his debut as a substitute in the mini-Manchester derby in October 2020. He scored an incredible solo goal to give United’s U18 team a 4-1 FA Youth Cup victory over Everton.

The winger, who was born in Madrid, has thrived for United’s youth team. He helped the Under-19s advance to the round of 16 by scoring twice against Leicester City in the UEFA Youth League quarterfinal at Old Trafford. He also participated in the under-21 United team’s Papa John’s Trophy contest.

The Argentinean teenager answered his critics by scoring twice in Manchester United’s 3-1 FA Youth Cup triumph over Nottingham Forest in May 2022. Alejandro Garnacho’s numbers speak for themselves. With seven goals, he led the club in scoring and assisted United in capturing the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 2011. Since becoming well-known, Garnacho has garnered the admiration of a large following and received accolades from well-known international individuals.

Later on, Garnacho got into first team.

In April 2022, Ralf Rangnick, United’s interim manager at the time, elevated the young player to the first team. He didn’t play for Norwich City, Liverpool, or Arsenal before making his Premier League debut against Chelsea. In the 91st minute, Alejandro replaced Anthony Elanga, but he had little effect as United and the Blues drew 1-1.

Additionally, he filled in for another player during the season finale game against Crystal Palace in 2021–2022. Argentine has nothing but affection for the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. He even refers him as the greatest football player in history. On April 16, 2022, Ronaldo netted a hat-trick to help United overcome Norwich 3-2. He also gave the match ball to Alejandro.

He was included in the final 33-man squad for the matches, although he did not play in either match. On March 26, 2022, Garnacho started the friendly match against the United States and made his debut for the Argentina under-20 team. In four games for the under-20 team at the Maurice Revello Tournament in 2022, he scored four goals.
