The makers of the Alchemy of Souls finally announced the release date of season 2 episode 1 as fans can’t contain themselves anymore
Apart from the release date of the show, we also have a piece of good news for the fans of K-drama.
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the makers have announced there will be another season for the K-drama as the show’s ending on cliffhanger left many confused.

Before going into the updates of season 2 which is titled as Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow, let’s discuss Season one.
The First season of the drama sees people’s fate being altered because of hwanhonsool. Jang Uk is descended from the prestigious family of the nation.
By chance, the son of the Jang family encountered Mu-Deok, who’s a skilled warrior, however her spirit is imprisoned in a frail body. Soon enough she became Jang Uk’s servant and began teaching him how to fight in the shadows.

In the previous episode, we saw for the sake of her soul, Naksu perform a spell while Jang Uk searches for a lone sorcerer who can assist him.
Meanwhile, Mu-Deok is transported to a new Master. Uk tried to persuade her but she rejected his alliance. In another scene, we can see My-Deok establishing rules before starting the formal training.
In another scene, the Crown Prince demands an heirloom as a token of respect during his visit to Jang home. UK and Mu-Deok both came to a deserted cottage as she exerts potential pressure on her pupil while UK is practicing at his facility.
In the middle of the episode, Gil-ju persuades Naksu to obtain a body as he wanders in the town in order to eat. However, Uk kept following him from behind.
