HasanAbi vows to cover legal costs for anyone suing the Kick streamer in the Adin Ross copyright issue

During his most recent stream, Twitch streamer HasanAbi targeted Kick streamer Adin Ross after learning that Ross had wrongfully claimed copyright against a smaller YouTuber, costing them thousands of dollars in revenue. HasanAbi said that he will personally pay for any legal action brought against Ross.

The recent incident is simply the most recent dispute in a series of indirect conflicts between the two broadcasters this year. The two have a history of fighting over what constitutes proper streaming content. Why does Hasan Abi suggest that he would bring a lawsuit against Adin Ross?

The basis of Piker’s most recent complaint against Adin Ross is a video in which the Kick streamer boasts about robbing the Internet Anarchist of money after the latter used a clip from his stream in a video about Sneako and MoistCr1TiKaL.

Adin was claiming videos that even briefly mentioned his name or copied clips and films from his feed, which infuriated HasanAbi, who is notorious for not enforcing copyright strikes when others use footage from his stream for the material.

The Turkish-American streamer launched into a lengthy tirade about how Adin Ross was essentially faking footage, bringing up one of his own films in which he debated Andrew Tate on Adin’s live, which had been claimed by the contentious Kick streamer.

HasanAbi elaborated on the possible consequences for Adin Ross during his stream, pointing out that by erroneously asserting copyright on all of the videos that feature third-party guests on his channel, Ross has exposed himself to the risk of legal action from anyone who has watched his stream.

How the video’s reception on social media

The vast majority of Redditors on r/LivestreamFail concurred with HasanAbi’s assertions and supported suing Adin Ross.  HasanAbi has also had disagreements with others regarding Adin Ross, and a recent argument with Trainwreckstv gained a lot of attention online.

So what do you think of this copyright strike matter? Who do you support? Hasan or Adin?
