The Junior Cricket Committee has selected the Indian U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Under-19 Asia Cup 2023, scheduled to take place in the UAE. India, the defending champions and the most successful team in the tournament with eight victories, will field a 15-member squad along with three travelling standby players. Additionally, the selection committee has identified four reserve players who will not be included in the touring contingent.

2023 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup schedule, date, venue, format, groups, & participating teams
As per the official schedule, the 2023 Men’s U19 Asia Cup is scheduled to commence on December 8 in Dubai. Notably, a total of eight teams will participate in this event, divided into two groups of four teams each. India holds the title of defending champions for the U19 Asia Cup. All 15 matches of the tournament will take place across three venues: Dubai’s ICC Academy Oval-1, ICC Academy Oval-2, and the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
In this tournament, Group A includes India, Nepal, Afghanistan, and arch-rivals Pakistan. Meanwhile, Group B is composed of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, and the hosts, UAE. It is worth noting that Nepal, UAE, and Japan secured their positions in the competition by attaining the top three rankings among non-regular members. The competition commences with a Group A match between Nepal and Afghanistan on December 8.
