Over the weekend, it was reported that Erica Gonzalez, a 28-year-old otherwise healthy producer for a morning show, had died on Friday. Erica beamed with pride as she thought about her son Brandon, who made the honour roll all four years of school.

The two were regulars at Petco Park, where they cheered for the Padres alongside the Friar Faithful. Mister Padre Tony Gwynn was a fan favourite of hers. She was also a huge fan of former San Diego Chargers star Junior Seau.
Also on the ABC production team, producer Dax Tejera passed away on December 24. When announcing his passing, division president Kim Godwin praised his “energy, enthusiasm, and love” for his profession. He’s been working as a senior producer for ABC News since 2017. He took over as host of “This Week” in 2020. Prior to that, he served as an executive producer for “America With Jorge Ramos.”

In February of 2020, Tejera, then 35 years old, became This Week’s new host and executive producer. He had joined the show as a senior producer after having served as an executive producer on America with Jorge Ramos.
Tejera, having the requisite experience to confidently pilot the ship and the requisite ambition to toss tradition out the window, found his groove fast and is now widely regarded as the future of broadcast media. A wide variety of conspiracy theories connecting the deaths of the two producers are currently circulating on social media.
