Thankfully, star Bobby Deol just revealed that Aashram season 4 is in the works, and he even hinted at a release date for MX Player’s main series!
Lead Actor Confirms Aashram Season 4
Bobby Deol, the principal actor in the Aashram series, uploaded a video on Instagram earlier today, June 3rd, confirming that season 4 is in the works. The one-minute teaser showed Baba being detained and explaining, “God is us. beyond your rules. Heaven was built by me. How can you arrest God?”
The teaser has been seen over 53,000 times in less than five hours since it was uploaded. While fans of the MX Player original series are naturally excited by the launch of Aashram season 4, few are shocked by Baba’s comeback.
The series continues to be extremely successful with fans all around the world, with each new season building on the popularity of the previous one. The first instalment, released in 2020, has been seen over 400 million times on YouTube, with 100 million of those views occurring within the first five days of its release.
MX Player does not provide official streaming data for original productions, however, it is safe to assume that Aashram is the platform’s most popular series. The fourth chapter in Baba’s narrative was all but certain, given the popularity of Aashram among fans, the importance of the series production at MX Player, and, of course, the open conclusion to Season 3.

Aashram season 4 will launch on MX Player in 2023, according to a teaser trailer posted on Bobby Deol’s Instagram page. Unfortunately, no particular launch date has been given, but we can make some educated guesses based on the last three seasons’ production cycles. The show will drop at 12:00am IST on the day the release date is said to be.
The first season was announced just 12 days before it premiered on MX Player in August 2020, and the second season was announced in October before it premiered in November of the same year — just four months apart! After repeated coronavirus-related delays and the now-infamous damage of the filming set in Bhopal, the third season took a gruelling 18 months to premiere.
The good news is that the Aashram community is hopeful that the series will return with a substantially shorter release timetable than Season 3 because of the lifting of pandemic limitations – albeit it will still be longer than the gap between seasons 1 and 2.
Overall, fans should expect Aashram season 4 to premiere in June 2023, giving the crew a full year to craft a new plot that would live up to the fans’ high expectations. However, if the team has already planned out part of the next instalment as they did with season 2, a March 2023 premiere date could be closer.
MX Player’s official streaming statistics for original productions aren’t available, but it’s safe to assume that Aashram is the platform’s most popular series. The fourth chapter in Baba’s narrative was all but certain, given the popularity of Aashram among fans, the importance of the series production at MX Player, and, of course, the open conclusion to Season 3.
The series stars actor Bobby Deol in the lead role as Baba Nirala aka Monty Singh, Chandan Roy Sanyal as Bhopa Bhai aka Bhupendra Singh, Aditi Pohankar as Parminder aka Pammi, Tushar Pandey as Satti, Darshan Kumar as Ujagar Singh, Anupriya Goenka as Dr. Natasha, Tridha as Babita Choudhary, Anil Rastogi as CM Sundar Lal.
