AA Gaming has partnered with TMG Esports to announce the Caribbean Clash with a prize pool of INR 6 Lakh
This open-for-all tournament will feature a series of stages, beginning with the open-for-all qualifiers, giving every team a shot at glory.
Commenting on the tournament, AA Gaming’s Founder and CEO, Akash Dhangar, said, “The Caribbean Clash marks a significant milestone for us as we are also launching the beta version of our AA Play app with this tournament. The app will currently feature tournaments and community engagement, with plans to integrate the digital marketplace and fintech in future updates. Esports is evolving into a leading form of interactive entertainment, and with AA Play, we aim to create a ‘gamertainment’ experience that connects with the masses.”
Interested players can register for the tournament on the AA Play website. Each team needs to have four players with an optional two additional substitutes. AA Play is an upcoming application, touted as the ultimate app for gaming enthusiasts, combining social features with tournaments and a digital marketplace.
Registrations are currently open until March 31st for up to 2048 teams, so be quick to grab your slots. Teams who register will compete in the qualifying rounds from April 1 to 6. From here, the top 40 teams will move on to the pre-quarterfinals, where they will be joined by 24 invited squads.
- Quarterfinals: 32 teams (April 9 to 11)
- Semifinals: 24 teams (April 12 to 13)
- Grand Finals: 16 teams (April 14 to 16)
The Caribbean Clash Grand Finals will unfold from April 14 to 16 with six matches taking place per day for a total of 18 games to determine the champions.
All matches from the pre-quarterfinals onwards will be broadcast live on YouTube. The list of invited squads includes the top gaming teams of the country, including GodLike Esports, Team Soul, Revenant XSpark, and more.
