In the last episode, Da Yeon questioned Tae Hyun if he has really killed someone. At his question, we get to see a flashback of his childhood. He was adopted at the age of four and was finally living with a family. However, his adopted mother got pregnant and he began to worry that he will be abandoned soon. Thinking about that, he ran to the park alone without informing his parent. When his mom returned home, he got worried as ae Tae Hyun was not there at home.
She went to look for Tae Hyun in the park and searched for him everywhere. He was about to be hit by a car and she jumped to save him. However, in that process, she lost her baby and became wounded. Later, when Tae Hyun was drawing, his mother jumped out of the window in the sorrow of losing her unborn child. After seeing her mother’s death, Tae Hyun became depressed and was sent to the hospital.
