Later on in the day, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty defeated Malaysia’s Man Wei Chong and Kai Wun Tee 21-18, 21-11 to advance to the BWF Super 750 event’s next round. Meanwhile, the women’s doubles duo of Ashwini Ponnappa-N Sikki Reddy, who previously won bronze at the world championships, were eliminated early as Ponnappa-Sikki Reddy were defeated by Chiharu Shida and Nami Matsuyama of Japan.

From June 28 to July 3, 2022, the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will host the 2022 Malaysia Open, which is a prestigious badminton competition with a US$675,000 top prize. 2022 Malaysia Open Badminton Doubles Category First Round Results, Score, Winner, And Draw
Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, the winners of the German Open, defeated Japan’s Keiichiro Matsui and Yoshinori Takeuchi in the day’s last match 21-12, 21-12. The duo of Fei and Rumsani will now play seventh-seeded Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty of India in the second round of 2022 Malaysia Open. The Indian duo, who last month led their nation to victory in the Thomas Cup in Bangkok, defeated the winners of the Syed Modi International, Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun in straight sets with a score of 21-18, 21-11.
Goh V Shem-Low Juan Shen’s journey came to an end as well; they were easily defeated by the in-form Indonesian team of Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto, 21-18, 21-9. The world number seven Indonesian team, which earlier this month won the Indonesia Masters championship, will play Germany’s Mark Lamfuss-Marvin Seidel in the second round.

The BWF World Tour Super 750 competition’s point distribution is determined by the BWF scoring system. The BWF awards 11,000 BWF points to the winners of the doubles division and 9,300 BWF points to the losers.
