KL Rahul missed the series versus South Africa and the visit of England due to a groin strain, he sustained during practice earlier this month.

The Lucknow Super Giants skipper has now gained the support of a doctor in Germany as the Indian vice-captain has experienced more than his good number of physical issues in recent years.
According to rumors, Bollywood starlet and travel companion Athiya Shetty would go to Germany with the Indian champion. While traveling to KL’s operation, the pair were seen together around the airport. Here is a link to the video:

Rahul’s therapy in Germany is anticipated to last for about a month before he returns home. He will thereafter travel to the West Indies with the Indian squad.
Rahul, who had established a reliable relationship with Rohit Sharma there at the major league level was a crucial component of India’s preparations for the trip to England. They were India’s top two batters and finished second in terms of runs scored to England’s run-machine Joe Root. The 29-year-old, a standout in all forms, will be sorely missed by India when they play on July 1.
“To heal from the groin injury, he requires a thorough and regulated rehab. For the past few months, it has caused him a great deal of pain. Even though he had discomfort during IPL 2022, it wasn’t very severe. He should be able to make a full recovery in preparation for the West Indies tour,” according to a person close to KL Rahul.
