The Halo Infinite battle royale rumours aren’t going away, according to strings and references to a mode called Tatanka in the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, & PC files with a new leak out
Tatanka is supposed to be the game’s take on battle royale. To that purpose, several fresh files have surfaced and are circulating ahead of Xbox’s E3-style upcoming event, which could finally reveal the long-awaited option.

InfiniteLeaks, a well-known Halo Infinite dataminer on Twitter, provided the data mining information. Some files show players will indeed be able to play the mode solo, in pairings, in trios, or quads, according to the dataminer.
However, unlike many battle royale games with 100 players, its maximum player count will be limited to 60, most likely for balancing purposes.
What is next for the Halo Infinite Series?
