Kentaro Miura’s longstanding friend and fellow manga artist Kouji Mori will oversee the continuation of Berserk
With the publication of his hit manga series Berserk, Miura’s legacy will go on. Mori will supervise the initiative, which will see six new chapters of the serial published in an issue of Young Animal.

WHERE DOES KOUJI MORI COME FROM:
Manga artist Kouji Mori was born in Japan. He was born in Tokyo, Japan, on November 28th, 1966.
He is most known for creating the Holyland animated book series, which was published between 2001 and 2008.

Mori was Miura’s long-time buddy, and the two had been friends for more than 30 years before Miura’s death. When Berserk was still in the works, Miura consulted with Mori.
THE BERSERK SERIES HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY KOUJI MORI:
Berserk will be finished under Kouji Mori’s supervision, according to him. Kentaro Miura died in May 2021, putting the series’ continuation on hold.
“Nearly 30 years ago, Miura contacted me and said, ‘I need to talk to you about creating a preliminary draught,'” Mori remarked of the series’ plotlines.
He explained, “I need to draw the Eclipse.”
He went on to say, “I think anybody with decent intuition would conclude by now that I know the entire tale for Berserk.”
WHEN IS THE FIRST CHAPTER COMING OUT?
The first chapter will be published in an upcoming issue of Young Animal on June 24th, 2022.
After then, the next five chapters will be accessible, completing the Fantasia Arc/Elf Island arc before the series moves on to a new one.
