Shortlist for Premier League Manager of the Season 2021/22 and the full nominees for 2022 seasonย
Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, and Eddie Howe are among the nominees for the 2021/22 Premier League Manager of the Season award. Thomas Frank and Patrick Vieira round out the five-man shortlist, having performed above expectations at Brentford and Crystal Palace, respectively, this season.

Guardiola was the winner last year, and the Spaniard appears to be in a good place to earn his fourth trophy in five seasons this time around, assuming his Man City team finishes the job and wins the Premier League title.
Klopp won the trophy in 2019/20, and after a dismal 2020/21 season, he has led Liverpool back into contention this season.
Howe, who has turned around Newcastle’s fortunes during an aggressive January transfer window, will have his supporters as well. Meanwhile, both Frank and Vieira have kept teams that were expected to struggle out of relegation jeopardy.
When and Who will decide the winner?
A fan vote will be coupled with the selections of a panel of “football experts” to determine the winner. Supporters have until Monday, May 16th at 18:00 UK time to vote.

The five finalists for the award hail from all corners of the Premier League table in 2021-22. With two games remaining, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are still vying for the ultimate prize: lifting the Premier League championship.
Crystal Palace maintained well progress under Patrick Vieira. Whereas Thomas Frank helped Brentford to return to the Premier League. Moreover, he has kept the team afloat for the second season in a row. Lastly, Eddie Howe. He took the charge of Newcastle and replaced Steve Bruce on Nov. 8. He literally took charge of a club that was, to put it bluntly, mired in mud. Howe now leads a team that has already secured its place in the Premier League for the 2022-23 season after avoiding an almost certain relegation.
