In a stunning turn of events on Friday, BJP leader Tajinder Singh Bagga was detained by Punjab police and returned to Delhi within hours after a squad of officers carrying the 36-year-old politician to Mohali was halted by the BJP-controlled Haryana police.

He was detained by Punjab police last month on charges of making “provocative statements and promoting religious enmity” through tweets directed against Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Bagga was apprehended by Punjab Police in his West Delhi house early in the morning. The police squad was halted by Haryana cops on their way to Mohali after the Delhi Police filed an abduction case based on a complaint from Bagga’s father. Punjab officers were afterwards apprehended by Haryana cops.

Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga is a famous politician and businessman. He was born in the Indian city of New Delhi on September 24, 1985. He is popular on social networks, particularly Twitter. He is also a member ofย Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
He is a founder member of the Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena, a New Delhi-based nationalist right-wing group. He runs a clothing brand that sells T-shirts connected with patriotism and nationalism, in addition to having an online T-shirt store called tshirtbhaiya.com.
His Career
Bagga became the Bhartiya Janata Party’s youngest National Working Member at the age of 23. He is the national secretary of the BJP’s youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Bagga has a history of making confrontational and politically inflammatory remarks during his political career.
He is standing from Harinagar in the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly Election against Rajkumar Dhillon of the Aam Admi Party.
He gained attention in 2012 when he called for the rapist’s execution. He also chastised Mamta Banerjee for announcing a one-day postponement in “Vijay dashi” in West Bengal. He has also raised the voice for Pakistani Hindu and Sikh refugees.
He just co-founded the ‘Kulhad Biryani,’ which he describes as the country’s first jhatka biryani brand to compete with halal meat, which is commonly consumed by Muslims. In terms of slaughtering, the two are distinct.
