Syed Ashrin Sulthana, Nagaraju’s wife, stated the couple had been together for a long period. Nagaraju attempted to marry Sulthana but was turned down by her family. In January of this year, the pair married in an Arya Samaj ceremony and moved to Saroornagar, Hyderabad.

Billapuram Nagaraju, a citizen of Marredpally, was 25 years old.
Nagaraj, who works as a salesperson in a prominent Secunderabad auto store, reportedly married 23-year-old Syed Ashrin Sultana alias Pallavi on January 31. According to the deceased’s relatives, they had been in love since they were in college.
Both Nagaraju’s and Sultana’s families were unhappy with the interfaith marriage and opposed it. Despite their family’s objections, the pair married two months ago at the Arya Samaj mandir in the Old City.
On Nagaraju’s motorcycle, the couple set out towards Saroonagar on Wednesday night. An unidentified guy stopped them as they approached the Mandal Revenue Office in Saroornagar and beat Nagaraju with an iron rod.
Nagaraju was stabbed in public and died as a result of his injuries, while Pallavi was wounded. The event was captured on the scene by many onlookers. On social media networks, the video has gone viral.

On Thursday, Hyderabad DCP Sunpreet Singh gave a press conference to report that the criminals had been captured and that the murder weapon had been found.
Syed Mobin Ahmad, Nagaraju’s wife Ashrin Sulthana’s brother, told investigators that he was against their childhood love affair and that when they eloped, he plotted the murder with Mohammad Masood Ahmad.
