The Khelo India University Games kicked off on Saturday at the Jain Global Campus, with MG University emerging as the big winners till now with them continuing to hold onto their lead atop of the medal tally.
Due to COVID-19, the second edition of the Khelo India University Games, KIUG 2021, was postponed last year however its back for its second edition in 2022.

In all, 3,800 competitors representing 189 colleges will participate in 275 medal events across 20 sports and disciplines with Yogasana and mallakhamb, two indigenous sports, also featured this year.
Archery, badminton, basketball, boxing, fencing, football, hockey, judo, kabaddi, karate, shooting, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, weightlifting, and wrestling are among the other 18 sports.
