The 2022 Badminton Asia Championships is a badminton tournament that will take place from April 26 to May 1, 2022 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex in Muntinlupa, Philippines, with a total prize money of $400,000.
April 26th-27th: First-round matches will begin from 6:30 AM IST
April 28: Second-round matches will begin from 6:30 AM IST
29th April: Quarter-finals begin from 1:30 PM IST
April 30: Semi-finals begin from 10:30 AM IST
May 1: Finals from 10:30 AM IST
2022 Badminton Asia Championships Men’s Singles First Round Draw, Fixtures, Players
In men’s singles, India’s top-ranked badminton player Lakshya Sen, world silver medalist Kidambi Srikanth, and 2019 world bronze medalist B Sai Praneeth will compete for the title. Meanwhile, HS Prannoy, who won bronze at the 2018 Asia Championships, had to withdraw due to injury.
