Hardik Pandya will not captain the Gujarat Titans against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2022 Match 29, know about his injury update

Rashid Khan, who is heading the squad in Hardik’s absence, said why: “Hardik has a little stiffness in his groin region, so as a team, we didn’t want to take a chance.” He’ll take a break and return for the next game, hopefully. So all I want to do is study as much as I can and offer my all. Matthew Wade has been replaced by Saha. It’s merely to make up for Hardik’s absence.
Hardik Pandya was injured in the groin during the team’s previous game against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). Midway through his third over, he went off the field clutching his hamstring. The remaining balls of the over were delivered by Vijay Shankar.
Ravindra Jadeja, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings, spoke during the toss “We would have also bowled first. Now we’ll try to put up a good score and put some pressure on them. We took a day off after the last game and went back to fundamentals with our training and other activities. For us, it’s the same squad.”
Hardik has returned to the IPL 2022 season after a lengthy injury layoff. Another issue with his fitness would be a major setback for GT as well as the Indian squad.
Meanwhile, GT has made two changes, replacing Hardik and Matthew Wade with Wriddhiman Saha and Alzarri Joseph. Chennai chose to deploy the same side that defeated RCB in their opening game of the season.
