Horner who is Red Bull’s principal revealed that Fury was besotted by Max’s style of racing ahead of the Azerbaijan F1 Grand Prix
He needed some time in getting the elusive pole position in the Championship rankings but when Max Verstappen finally achieved it after winning the Monaco Grand Prix, the triumph was lauded across the circuit.
It was down to the Red Bull driver’s unnerving and unstinted commitment to making the first position his own. The Dutchman has over the years been one of the most dedicated and consistent drivers with his unabated skill set finally being rewarded.
Tyson Fury Is Max Verstappen’s Fan
And his sprawling expertise have not only won Max supporters on the circuit. The Red Bull driver has earned a new admirer in the form of heavyweight champions, Tyson Fury.
Red Bull owner, Christian Horner revealed Fury’s appreciation of Max’s win in Monaco. Writing for Red Bull, Horner talked about how he had received a message from Fury ensuing Max’s win in France.
“So far this championship is box office,” said Horner. “I even received a text from Tyson Fury after Max’s win in Monaco,” Christian Horner, Red Bull’s owner went onto write.
“The two-time world heavyweight champion is a fan of Max and there has been a lot of excitement from other sports around the competitive championship fight we are in.
“Tyson is an incredibly passionate and focused guy and I think he respects the fact that Max drives in a similar way.

Horner also talked about Max’s win at the Monaco GP which not only saw Max top the Championship rankings but also took Red Bull to the top of the Constructors’ rankings. Horner spoke about how the moment was an unprecedented one for the side and surpassed all expectations the team had from the race.
However, Horner refused to be taken away by that triumph. Speaking ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Red Bull principal talked about the hardships his side was bound to encounter in the impending race owing to the lack of overtaking chances.
