The Masters Tournament in 2022 will be the 86th edition and the first of the men’s four major golf tournaments to be held in that year. It will be held at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, from April 7–10, 2022.

Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, and Jordan Spieth are all in the morning wave in Round 2, and they’re all staggered throughout. Johnson will play alongside young sensation Collin Morikawa and Billy Horschel, Jon Rahm will play together Patrick Cantlay and Will Zalatoris, and Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka will play alongside Matthew Fitzpatrick in a star-studded threesome.
The afternoon wave could be even better, as four of the last five Masters champions are among the last groups to go off at Augusta National before the weekend begins, including five-time champion Tiger Woods. At 1:41 p.m. ET, Woods will compete alongside Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann in one of the finals.

Tiger Woods made a surprising return to competitive golf at the Augusta Masters 2022, shooting a one-under-par 71 at Augusta National. Meanwhile, Im Sung-jae of South Korea, the runner-up in 2020, is in first place after a five-under 67.
Cameron Smith is one stroke behind the leader Sung-jae and one stroke ahead of Willett and Niemann. Smith set the early bar for the competition, leading at 3 under at the turn and briefly leading the tournament at 4 under until being tracked down late in the day. Defending champion Hideki Matsuyama started slow and ended first day sitting T19 after an even-par 72.
In a 3-under-par round of 69, Scottie Scheffler, playing in his first tournament as World No. 1, didn’t make a bogey until the 18th hole.

When And Where To Watch: Live Stream And Telecast Of The Augusta Masters 2022
ESPN and CBS will broadcast live coverage of the Augusta Masters. The first two rounds of the golf tournament will be broadcast on ESPN on Thursday and Friday, while the third and fourth rounds will be broadcast on CBS on Saturday and Sunday.
Augusta Masters 2022 Purse Prize Money Pool Breakdown
At each of the last three Masters tournaments, the winner has taken home $2.07 million in prize money. It is predicted to be roughly the same in 2022, but the winner’s portion will fluctuate if the total purse changes.
In previous years, the winner’s portion of the prize pool has been 18%. The total prize purse of August Masters 2022 is expected to be $11.5 Million.
