The 2022 Korea Open will be the eighth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Open championships, which have been held since 1991. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

Lakshya Sen advanced to the second round of the men’s singles competition after a gruelling three-game victory at the 2022 Korea Open Super 500 badminton tournament on Tuesday. Lakshya won his match against local star Choi Ji Hoon 14-21, 21-16, 21-18 in just over an hour in the first round encounter.
