The 2022 Korea Open will be the eighth tournament on the BWF World Tour, and it will be hosted in conjunction with the Korea Open championships, which have been held since 1991. The Badminton Korea Association is hosting this competition, which is sanctioned by the BWF.

2022 Korea Open Badminton Women’s Singles First Round Draw, Fixtures, Players List
PV Sindhu is the third seed at the 2022 Korea Open after winning the Swiss Open. In the first round, she will face Lauren Lam of the United States, who is an unseeded player. Busanan Ongbamrungphan is the only other seeded player in this section.
Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal, who has had a difficult season thus far, will try to turn things around. She is grouped with top seed Chen Yufei and sixth seed He Bingjiao in a difficult division. She will begin her campaign against Asuka Takahashi of Japan.
