Video footage of Toto Wolff mocking Red Bull after the Bahrain Grand Prix F1 2022 has gone viral
Prior to race day as the season opener Bahrain Grand Prix got underway, Mercedes clearly had issues with their car. As Lewis Hamilton returned looking to salvage what many termed as robbery last season, the driver endured underwhelming showings during practice and qualification.

And with Max Verstappen going strong, Hamilton looked set to miss out on a top three finish on the night. However, the Red Bull driver’s power unit ended up balking on him in the tailend of the Bahrain GP 2022 with both the Red Bulls dropping out of the race like flies.

It saw the Brit take third on the night, a race which was eventually won by Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton. And the finish for Hamilton not only saw him take an early lead over the Dutch driver but also left Mercedes chuffed owing to the circumstances it came in.
Toto Wolff was quick to take a swipe at Red Bull in the aftermath of the showdown as he spoke about the race. Wolff spoke about how everyone considered Red Bull’s cars to be the benchmark this campaign only for the side to end up with 0 points in the season opener.
Anything to spice things up and get into Christian Horner’s head early in the season.
