The 2022 All England Open is the fifth tournament on the BWF World Tour for 2022, and it is also a part of the All England Open Badminton Championships, which have been held since 1899. Badminton England is hosting the competition, which is sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation. Japanese shuttler Nozomi Okuhara is the defending champion in Women’s Singles category of All England Open Badminton after having won the 2021 edition.

BWF All England Open Badminton Championships 2022 Women’s Singles Second Round Results, Score
In the second round of All England Open, Saina Nehwal was eliminated. In the decider set, the Indian shuttler came back from a 1-9 deficit but ended up losing 14-21, 21-17, 17-21 to Akane Yamaguchi, the second seed.
PV Sindhu started her All England Championships campaign with a straightforward straight-game victory in the women’s singles. However, the world number seven was defeated in the second round by Sayaka Takahashi of Japan, 21-19 16-21 21-17.
