The American rapper’s song Up is the official song of the forthcoming WWE Summerslam set to be held in August this year.
Considered as the pinnacle of WWE events by rapturous viewers of the WWE, the Summerslam is an eagerly anticipated event. And to ensure that they cater to the gargantuan expectations of their faithful, the WWE pulls out all stops to make the marquee event a consummate success.
Cardi B Set To Host WWE Summerslam
Although the 2021 edition of the Summerslam is still some time away with the event set to get underway come August, WWE is set to have already a major latest development for it. Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast has gone onto claim that WWE is all set to have Cardi B on board to host the WWE Summerslam.
Taking to Twitter, Andrew went onto break the news as he wrote, “I can confirm that I was told cardi b is the host for SummerSlam this year.”

Cardi B’s involvement at the Summerslam was already being touted owing to her song, Up being chosen as the official song of the premier event. Ever since, speculation have been rife about WWE involving Cardi B on a larger scale as well.
The WWE’s Stephanie McMahon had gone reveal that the American rapper’s Up had been chosen as the official song.
“I think it could be really cool to work with Cardi B. She had a tweet she put out not long ago, which was in reference to her name on the show. I think she’s so colorful herself and so vivacious and full of life that I think she would even bring it up a notch in WWE. I think she would be awesome,” Stephanie had said.
WWE Summerslam Venue
The Summerslam which will be held on 21st August, 2021, the first time ever a Summerslam has been held on Saturday is yet to nail down on a venue. However, according to news doing the round, Allegiant Stadium, the home for NFL team Las Vegas Raiders is being considered for hosting the event with WWE anticipating live attendance for the event.
