1. Doping
The doping scandal took place in the year 1994 by the owners of Juventus and Fiat. These people were concerned about the winning probability of their teams so decided to induce malpractices of doping into the game to manage a win. The Juventus club was having numerous top players so all of them faced a lot of defamation because of doping.
2. Totoro
We cannot consider it as the first scandal but definitely, it was a prominent one. Players from Lazio were seen making huge amounts of money by the following cheating in the game. These players were taking money from viewers to give them results of their choice in the game.
3. Ronaldo Penalty
This event took place in 1998, the referee judged Ronaldo wrong. On 26 April 1998, according to Ronaldo he won the penalty but the referee refused. Later on, this decision was revised and it came in the favor of Ronaldo but the Ronaldo fans were disappointed a lot.
4. Betting Scandal
The year 2011-2012 bought a scandal in the game because of betting practices. In this betting event, a number of big names came out and almost all of them were proved guilty by the police. Stars such as Cristiano Doni and Giuseppe were also involved in this scandal.
5. Calcipoli
The Calcipoli scandal took fire in the year 2006 in media. Juventus and some other clubs were traced for fixing practiced by the Italian police over phone calls. Juventus club has many times been defamed because of such careless activities.
