7. Suspension of Nate Diaz

The Irishman threw a trolley on the a bus which was carrying Khabib Nurmagomedov and other fighters to the UFC 223 event in Brooklyn.

McGregor broke a glass window, injuring Michael Chiesa and others. The Irishman was arrested subsequently after this stupidity.

5. Yoel Romero stolgate

In 2014, during Yoel Romero’s fight against fellow Tim Kennedy at UFC 178, Yoel Romero was hammered brutally by his opponent. Kennedy clipped Romero and could have finished the fight, had the bell to end the round not rang.

After the round, Romero took an extended break even after the allotted minute. He sat almost over 30 seconds more on his stool as he was recovering from the Kennedy onslaught of the previous round. Taking an extra break without any penalty getting imposed, Romero went onto win the fight.

4. UFC helps Jon Jones with changed venue

After Jon Jones tested positive for narcotics for the second time in his octagon career, UFC tried to control the situation in their own manner. The NSAC refused to give Jones a license, but California State Athletic Commission granted him the pass.

So, UFC moved the event from Nevada to California altogether, that too, on short notice.

3. UFC 229 McGregor vs Khabib Post-Fight brawl

1. Dana White fires Jon Fitch

This has to be the most unknown biggest controversy to have ever taken place in UFC. Jon Fitch was #9 in the welterweight division. His UFC record was 14W-3L, but evidently that was not good enough to keep him on the roster. His only 3 losses in the UFC were against Georges St. Pierre, Johny Hendricks, and Damien Maia.
