The Badminton World Mixed Team Championship, often known as the famous Sudirman Cup, will take place in Xiamen, China, from April 27 to May 4 as the 2025 schedule
The hosts of the Badminton World Mixed Team Championship are the reigning champions China, the most successful team in the tournament’s history with 13 titles. They are also the favourites at home because of the caliber of their squad.

Since its debut in 1989, just three countries have dominated the competition. South Korea has won the title four times, including the second and third editions, although Indonesia took first place in 1989. The remaining 13 editions were all won by China.
Over the course of eight days, Xiamen will host the Sudirman Cup Finals, the badminton global mixed team championships.
From April 27 to May 1, the group matches will take place twice a day at 9:30 am and 5 pm local time (UTC +8 hours).
The Sudirman Cup Final is scheduled for May 4th, the semi-finals for May 3rd, and the quarterfinals for May 2nd. Tickets for the tournament can be purchased from here.
There is no prize money in the Sudirman Cup and players play for their respective countries and to earn BWF World Ranking points.

Where to watch Badminton World Mixed Team Championship?
Through Olympics.com and the official Olympics mobile app, you may watch the BWF Sudirman Cup on the Olympic Channel (however there may be territorial restrictions).
Additionally, it will be accessible via a number of domestic television stations and the BWF TV YouTube account.
Live streaming of the Sudirman Cup 2025 badminton tournament in India will be available on the BWF’s YouTube channel but there will be no live telecast of the Sudirman Cup on any TV channel.
